As they get older, the old white fur gradually falls off and is replaced with new growth, and the face, ears and paws generally get darker in places.
However, the belly part of Siamese cats is usually white. However, many owners find that after de-sexing or shaving their Siamese cats in summer, because the hair becomes shorter and the temperature of the shaved area also drops, the Siamese cat’s belly part grows out darker, which is a normal physiological phenomenon and the owner does not need to worry too much, the Siamese cat’s darkened hair will gradually change back to its original color as the temperature rises.
