How long is a rabbit’s tail, do you know?

When I used to have rabbits, I thought they were very good-looking, and their tails were short, and the whole look was particularly cute and pleasing. At that time when I saw the rabbit, the tail was only a fluff ball leaking out, which is only about 2 cm in size, but one day, it was found that the rabbit’s tail was actually hidden under the body.

The common rabbit tail is 5 to 10 cm long. It is not as short as we all think oh, the characteristics of each creature are evolved over millions of years, and nature has its reasons. Rabbits often make holes in the ground. Underground there are tree roots, grass roots, if the tail is long natural impact on access, on the ground if there is a large tail is easy to be found by natural predators, and not easy to escape. The tail is large in the grass is also easy to hang injuries. So the rabbit tail is actually the result of long-term species evolution and is the most suitable for rabbits.

In terms of size, they can be classified as large rabbits, medium-sized rabbits and small rabbits. Large rabbits weigh about 5 to 8 kg, but of course there are some that can exceed 8 kg, medium-sized rabbits weigh about 2 to 4 kg, and small rabbits weigh about 2 kg or less. Moreover, rabbits are particularly timid animals. Sudden noises, strangers and strange animals, such as dogs and cats, can cause them to panic. In feeding management, you should try to avoid noises that cause rabbits to panic, and you should prohibit strangers and dogs and cats from entering the rabbit house.

Parents don’t have to worry much about raising rabbits, they are relatively easy to raise, as long as water and food are available and they remember to clean up their cages every day, they don’t need any extra care.
